Lets Get Started

Let’s Get Started

Thank you for choosing us to fulfill your CD or DVD order with us. Let’s get started! Here are the next steps.

  1. Let’s talk by email (les@ lesandfriends.com) or by phone (978-228-5903) and talk about your project.
  2. If you want to move forward, we will send you an itemized cost analysis, our “CD and DVD Requirement Checklist” and a link to a repository folder. This is where you will deposit all of your art and music assets.
  3. Upload your assets to the repository folder. For best results, please make sure that your artwork meets the requirements on our “CD and DVD Requirement Checklist.” Audio files should be a DDP image (preferred) or WAV files. If you do not have a DDP image, we can create one for you for no charge if combined with a product purchase.
  4. When artwork is finished, we will reach out for your approval and will send an invoice.  If you are satisfied, we will need your approval via email. Please do not pay the invoice until you approve the artwork.
  5. Once we receive your payment, your manufacturing interval starts with the day of the approval being day 0.
  6. We will manufacture your disk, to the best of our ability, according to our advertised intervals. If for some reason we cannot meet your interval, we will contact you and let you know the reason for the holdup. If you are ordering standard interval there will be no refund for going over the advertised interval. If you are ordering a rush shipment and cannot meet the interval, we will refund your rush fee. The advertised interval starts with your payment and ends when the project is shrink wrapped and packed. We cannot guarantee and are not responsible for shipping intervals. If you have an  issue receiving your shipment when promised, please contact the shipping company.

Claims and Responsibility

  1. Product damaged in shipping is the responsibility of the shipping company. We are not liable for damage caused during shipping.
  2. Signing off on the artwork in step 4 signifies that you approved the artwork. Tthere are no refunds on artwork.
  3. If a CD does not play audio and the audio was created via DDP file, we will replace any defective disk free of charge as long as the CD or DVD has not been visibly damaged. Upon receipt of the defective disk we will replace it with a new CD or DVD free of charge.
  4. Burning WAV files directly to disk is not industry standard and is less reliable than burning via DDP file. If you choose to have WAV files burned directly to disk, we cannot offer the free disk replacement offered in claim remedy #3.
