Les and Friends/Beauty From Ashes Music
The core of "Les and Friends" consists of the husband/wife team of Les and Sandi Hamlett. We are blessed to have lifelong musician friends that work with us on many of our productions hence the name "Les and Friends." We are located in the beautiful state of New Hampshire, USA. Beauty From Ashes Music is the publishing wing of "Les and Friends."
Though we specialize in Christian Rock, we love all kinds of music. Our music can be purchased in most online music stores. In addition, we also post videos on YouTube.
Sandi Hamlett
Sandi has been singing publicly since she was 5 years old. She has performed in the music and drama disciplines her entire life. Her credits include studio vocalist for Double Edge Music, drama with the Living Presence Experimental Theater.
In addition, Sandi has been a vocalist for the DRM Band, Rich Gaudreau Band, Voices Of Distinction and others. She also served on the worship team at West Congregational Church of Haverhill Ma and is currently serving on the worship team at First Congregational
Les Hamlett
Les was inspired to become a songwriter and musician by The Beatles at the tender age of 12. His main instrument is bass guitar but he also plays guitar and dabbles in a number of other instruments. He has played bass or guitar with the DRM Band, the Rich Gaudreau Band, Just Another Jesus Band, Sword, Nazareth (not of Love Hurts fame), the Fishermen Gospel Team and others.
Les has been involved in contemporary worship since 1991, serving with the West Congregational Church Praise Band, the Common Ground Praise Band, the Rockingham Church Worship Band, The First Monday Praise Band and others. He currently plays electric guitar with the praise band at First Congregational Church in Kingston, NH.
He has written and published over 200 songs.
